Rod Hanson Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Director Alyeska Pipeline Service Company
Rod Hanson is the Health, Safety, Environment, & Quality Director for Alyeska Pipeline Service Company. Rod began working on the Trans Alaska Pipeline System in 1989 as a Field Project Engineer at the Valdez Marine Terminal. Following the Exxon Valdez oil spill, Rod was the Project Engineer for the new SERVS facilities in Valdez and across Prince William Sound. Most of Rod's experience is in Operations, including time as Alyeska's Pipeline Manager out of Fairbanks and five years as the Valdez Marine Terminal Manager. His current role in Anchorage includes oversight of Alyeska's Management Systems for Safety, Environmental Protection, Quality Assurance, and Emergency Preparedness.
